Startups

Am I eligible for a free startup ticket?

Approved startups are eligible for one free ticket per company only.

  • have a live website
  • be a trading company
  • be a fast-growing legal technology businesses (not a consultancy or startup law firm)
  • be less than 5 years old

You will receive an email from tickets@universe.com within 15 working days to confirm if your ticket was successful or not.

I have a startup ticket, does that mean I have a startup alley stand?

No. Please do NOT email us about startup alley stands.

If you have been issued a free startup ticket you have access to the Legal Geek Conference only. Startup alley pitches are selected by Legal Geek and our advisors. Startups with alley pitches will receive an email by September 2019.

Why can we only get one free startup ticket this year?

As the ecosystem continues to grow the demand for free startup tickets has increased significantly. We want as many LawTech startups as possible to attend the event, so we are reducing the number of free startup tickets to make sure everyone has a chance to attend.

Don’t worry though, approved startups will be able to purchase additional discounted tickets for the rest of the team 🙂

How do I bring the rest of my team?

Once you have been approved for your free startup ticket, we will send you an email with a discount code to purchase additional tickets for your team.

Will I be allowed to come to future events if I was issued a free startup ticket, but don't come to the event?

If you have a free startup ticket, but can’t make the event anymore please please visit our ticketing platform Universe to cancel your ticket. More: www.universesupport.zendesk.com/cancel-a-free-order

If you do not let us know, and do not attend, you will be preventing someone else attending. We will therefore not issue you free tickets to events in the future.

For questions or additional help please email events@legalgeek.co [yes it’s .co]
