We have defined a simple ethos for our events:
Please dress casually for this event, we have a no-tie policy and startups are encouraged to wear branded t-shirts. Everyone should come prepared to high five and make new friends 🙂
We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate at the event, on Twitter or on any other online media. Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the venue at the discretion of the organisers and any contribution to the challenge set will not be acknowledged. By attending an event you agree to our terms and conditions.
Yes, we’d love to hear from you. We have opportunities for online and hybrid events. If you are interested in sponsoring one of our events, please email hello@legalgeek.co
Find out more info about partnering with us and hear from some of our sponsors directly here.
To find out more information, we have moved our Privacy Note and Cookies Policy to a separate page.
Read the full terms and conditions.
You can register your interest to speak at Legal Geek events here: www.legalgeek.co/apply-to-speak
Please note: we do not sell speaker slots.
We publish some confirmed speakers close to the events, however, due to reasons beyond our control, this is subject to change.
Our events are for adults aged 18 or over. No children [including babies] can access the events. Every attendee requires a ticket in their name.
There will be live filming and photography throughout the event, which will be shared on social media. By attending, you consent to being filmed and photographed.
We want to make our events safe and secure and our friendly and experienced security professionals will be searching bags at their discretion on entry. Please read our ethos and code of conduct for more information.

This is the FAQ page, the main mentorship page is www.legalgeek.co/mentorship
If you are a student your application will not be processed. Sorry, we organise a separate program of student events.
Spaces are limited for this pro-bono program. We will only contact successful applicants. If your application is successful, we will be in touch to invite you to the next stage of the process.
There might be a delay hearing from us because we only review matches in batches every couple of months!
The next mentorship programme is now live. To be involved you need to complete the form below and if your application is successful, we will be in touch to invite you to the next stage of the process. There might be a delay hearing from us because we only review matches in batches every couple of months!
For the next cohort, we will be partnering with Guider, a mentoring software platform, to match mentors and mentees. Guider’s platform uses a mixture of neural-linguistic programming and machine learning to ensure a mentee is matched with the most relevant mentor for them. This is based on their skills, goals, experience, interests and business goals.
We expect all mentors and mentees to meet regularly, at least once per month for the duration of the cohort.
Due to the current, and fast-evolving, COVID-19 pandemic we request that all meetings happen digitally to keep you safe.

This is the FAQ page, the main startup map page is www.legalgeek.co/startup-map
Please complete this form to notify us of an error on the published map. We will do our best to fix errors in a timely manner, but please be patient with us.
You will need to be a live law tech startup in Europe. If your startup is missing please complete this form: my startup is missing. Please note the map is a snapshot in time which is only updated periodically.
There are over 250 LawTech startups listed on the latest startup map. While the map is in BETA we are not providing an exact number while we update the map. Learn how we created the startup map.
The new design uses straight lines which can continue to grow to an infinite length and will allow us to make changes to the map quicker. Our new edition reflects the growth of the start-ups and scaleups we track: it’s bigger, streamlined, and more grown-up. Learn more about the design of the startup map.
Great question. We are hoping to roll out the map to other areas of the world in the coming months and years.
