A Day in the Vanguard of Legal Tech
What I really learned when I learned how to code. This talk will cover the challenges and frustrations that will ring true to any lawyer, and some recipes for overcoming them and ultimately thriving at work, be it as a sole counsel of a brick-and-mortar business or as the head of legal of a scaleup spearheading legal innovation. Valeria Ivasikh, Head of Legal (Product), Seed Legals
Legal Skills for the Age of AI: Making Space for Misfits
In successful legal projects, top-notch law is paired with great service design and project management. To deliver an excellent client experience, we need a mix of skills, backgrounds, and specialists alongside generalists. As we move towards an AI-driven legal field, diverse ideas and approaches are crucial. Let’s explore the essential skills and how to foster a thriving culture.
Baru Obračajová, Head of Project Management, Dentons
How AI Could Help Legal Officers with ESG Regulation?
Galina will discuss how AI can empower legal officers by automating ESG compliance and monitoring, enhancing accuracy, and reducing the time required to analyse regulatory data and reporting requirements. Galina Donnik, Chief Impact Officer, Sirius
Monkeys Jumping on the Bed: Rewiring Risk to get Decisions That *POP*.
Legal and compliance improvement projects often face high risks of failure, delay, and mission creep, whether they involve organisation, personnel, technology, systems, policy, or training. A key yet often overlooked success factor is clear understanding of the risks the project aims to address. Drawing on innovative models from his global in-house legal roles, Tom Fleuriot shows how to turn risk from dry paperwork into a key enabler. These techniques go beyond new projects, enhancing decision speed, client alignment, focus, and final delivery when applied effectively. Tom Fleuriot, Founder, Flocsam
