Much has changed since the first Legal Geek event with 30 people eating pizza and drinking beer in the basement of a startup warehouse in San Francisco – yes we are a #cliche!
Since then, with you always at the heart of it, Legal Geek has defined and redefined legal tech events, attracting thousands of law-gends from around the world. YOU make Legal Geek amazing. Thank you.
We have defined a simple ethos for our events:
- Come to make friends, not to sell
-
Dress comfortably (please, please, no ties)
-
Come to learn and to teach.
-
Look after your fellow law-gends, you may need their help someday.
-
This is your community, please pitch in and help. You will be rewarded.
We only publish confirmed speakers, however due to reasons beyond our control, this is subject to change. There will be live filming and photography throughout the event, which will be shared on social media. By attending you consent to being filmed and photographed.
To support our ethos we ask all attendees to comply with our code of conduct:
We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate at the event, on Twitter or on any other online media. Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the venue at the discretion of the organisers and any contribution to the challenge set will not be acknowledged. By attending an event you agree to our terms and conditions.
